Salmo 7: La Canción del Santo Calumniado

Una Meditación de David, que cantó al SEÑOR concerniente a las palabras de Cus, un benjamita.

Salmo 7:1-2

O Lord my God, in You I put my trust; save me from all those who persecute me; and deliver me, 2 lest they tear me like a lion, rending me in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

It is better to commit our trust to the Lord's defense than to commit our tongues to our own defense.

Salmo 7:3-5

O Lord my God, if I have done this: if there is iniquity in my hands, 4 If I have repaid evil to him who was at peace with me, or have plundered my enemy without cause, 5 Let the enemy pursue me and overtake me; yes, let him trample my life to the earth, and lay my honor in the dust. Selah

El corazón íntegro busca agradar a Dios en todas las cosas y no ofenderlo en ninguna.

Salmo 7:6-7

Arise, O Lord, in Your anger; lift Yourself up because of the rage of my enemies; rise up for me to the judgment You have commanded! 7 Y te rodeará la congregación de los pueblos; por ellos, pues, regresa a lo alto.

Como el enemigo es beligerante en traer lo incorrecto por correcto, nosotros necesitamos ser constantes en traer lo correcto por lo incorrecto.

Salmo 7:8-10

The Lord shall judge the peoples; judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity within me. 9 Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the just; for the righteous God tests the hearts and minds. 10 Mi defensa viene de Dios, quien salva a los de corazón recto.

Salmo 7:11-13

Dios es un juez justo, y Dios está enojado con los malvados cada día. 12 Si no se vuelve, afilará Su espada; preparará Su arco y lo tensará. 13 También prepara para sí instrumentos de muerte; hace que Sus flechas sean como saetas de fuego.

Si el hombre pecador no se vuelve ahora, no hay vuelta atrás después.

Salmo 7:14

He aquí, el malvado concibe iniquidad; sí, está preñado de maldad y da a luz falsedad.

El pecado promete placer y sin embargo paga en dolor y vergüenza.

Salmo 7:15-16

15 Hizo un pozo y lo cavó, y ha caído en la fosa que hizo. 16 Su maldad volverá sobre su propia cabeza, y su violencia descenderá sobre su propia corona.

La "horca de Amán" siempre se vuelve en contra.

Salmo 7:17

I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.
