Worship

Using our original Landmark Kids worship videos and handmotions, Preschool-5th starts by worshiping together. After worship, the grade groups split into their specific groupings.

Interactive Biblical Lesson

Our teachers use icebreakers, activities, crafts, & videos to supplement their lesson and help kids learn about the Bible through all 5 senses. We use Gospel Project Curriculum for all of our grade groups except 4th-5th.

FAQs

Find answers to common questions about Landmark Kids so you can feel confident and prepared when bringing your child.

We understand that allergies can be a concern for parents. Each classroom has an iPad with a class roster that includes medical notes. If your child has allergies, a yellow alert icon will appear next to their name to notify leaders.

We typically provide simple snacks such as Cheerios and pretzels. Gluten-free options are also available. If your child has additional allergies or dietary restrictions, you are welcome to send a snack with them.

You can view your child’s curriculum through the Church Center app by selecting Study and then Curriculum. Children in Preschool through 3rd grade also receive a weekly take-home coloring sheet that includes the lesson's Christ connection, weekly Bible passage, and more.

All volunteers are background-checked and complete a Child Safety Training every two years. The Family Life Center is equipped with security cameras, and has at least two security team members on duty during services.

We also follow strict bathroom policies: two adults are always present. For younger children who need assistance, one volunteer helps while another stands at the door. If you do not want us to assist your child in the restroom, just let us know and we can update your child’s profile.

We recommend waiting until your baby is around 6 months old before dropping them off in the nursery. However, you are welcome to use your discretion and bring them earlier if you feel comfortable.

A nursing room is also available upstairs in the main sanctuary for moms to utilize during service.

  • Landmark Kids meets in the Family Life Center (833 West Ave) on Sundays and Wednesdays. While the building is separate from the main sanctuary, it’s just a short walk away.
  • Pre-registration is not required. If you’d like to save time, you can download the Church Center app, select Landmark Church, and enter your family’s information ahead of time, including your child’s grade and any medical notes or allergies. If not, no worries, we’ll have someone on-site to assist you when you arrive.
  • At check-in, your child will receive a name tag with a security number, and you’ll receive a matching tag for pickup. If we need to contact you during service, a Family Life Team member will send you a text. If we don’t hear back, your security number will be displayed on the screen, prompting you to come to the Family Life Center.
