Missionary Aviation Repair Center's (MARC)
|
Soldotna, AK
Growing up, Adam attended a flying camp hosted by Moody Bible Institute, where he fell in love with aviation. For years, he dreamed of becoming a missionary pilot.
While studying entrepreneurship at Grove City College, Adam discovered a passion for business—and met his future wife, Rachel, a psychology and music major. After graduating in 2013 and getting married in 2014, Adam and Rachel started their company, Home and Healthy, which “enables seniors to live confidently in their home.”
The business expanded over time to include home maintenance, lawn care, property management, and, for a season, a nursing agency. During these years, Adam and Rachel also grew in their faith and began hosting and leading a weekly young marrieds Bible study.
While on vacation in Anchorage, Alaska, the Lord began to redirect the trajectory of their lives. As Adam was driving around town, he came across the office of Missionary Aviation Repair Center (MARC). After months of communication with MARC, Adam recognized how his nine years of experience in business, accounting, marketing, construction, and home maintenance had uniquely prepared him to serve their mission.
Adam stepped into a newly created business manager position at MARC, overseeing marketing, administration, finance, and donor relations. He has worked to strengthen MARC’s operational foundation and financial stability, enabling the organization to continue growing and ministering to communities and villages. Over the past year, Adam has also helped lead financial, legal, and operational updates, along with several facility projects.
