New Jersey–Based, Serving Internationally
Caitlin Terry is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer from Vineland, New Jersey, and serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Hydromissions International, a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to bringing water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions to some of the most remote and underserved communities in the world. Although she lives in New Jersey, she regularly travels internationally—typically every month or two—to train teams and oversee projects. In 2026, she will be serving in Uganda, Kenya, Panama, Guatemala, and Nepal, with the possibility of additional work in Mexico and Liberia. Each year varies, but she generally works in five to seven countries annually.
For more than 16 years, Caitlin has partnered with local communities to design and implement safe water and sanitation programs using low-tech, highly portable well-drilling methods. By cultivating strong local teams, she helps drill wells, construct sanitation facilities, and teach foundational hygiene principles, always emphasizing long-term sustainability and local ownership.
Caitlin has served in villages across five continents. She sees clean water as more than an engineering challenge—it is an opportunity to serve others in the name of Jesus Christ. She is committed to equipping local believers to meet the physical needs of their neighbors while building meaningful relationships that point to the gospel. In many communities, practical acts of service open the door to share the Living Water that only Christ provides.
She treasures 1 Peter 4:8–11, which calls believers to love deeply, practice hospitality, and faithfully use the gifts God has given them to serve others, so that “in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.”
