Signs of the Times: Profiling Evil In Perilous Times

The Spirit forewarns us of perilous times in order to forearm us with pertinent truth.
Turning away from such people is not about ignoring evil, it’s about abhorring evil.
2 Timothy 3:1
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come…
(v2) For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money… (v4) lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God…
Misplaced love is disgraced love.
(v2) boasters, proud… (v4) haughty…
In a world that celebrates “pride month” and proud mouths, let us be marked by humility and integrity.
(v2) blasphemers… (v3) slanderers… (v4) traitors… (v3) despisers of good.
A nation where there is no fear of God nor faith in what’s good is a nation soon gone.
(v2) disobedient to parents…
(v2-3) unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving…
(v3) without self-control, brutal… (v4) headstrong…
This present evil may overwhelm, but it will never overcome.
2 Timothy 3:5
5 Having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
