Signs of the Times: Transhumanism, Transgenderism, Transformation

While the world has been removing God, the spirit of lawlessness has been moving in.

Matthew 24:36

36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

We may not be able to set the date, but we can know the setting of the days.

Matthew 24:37

37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Genesis 6:1-4

Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. 3 And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” 4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

Transhumanism of the past was a blending of creature with human. Transhumanism of the present is a blending of creation with human.

Genesis 6:5; 11-12
5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually… 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

Those who depart from the image of God will follow a god created in their own image.

There are those who want to be God; and those who do not want to be what God wants them to be.

The world says affirm the mind and alter the body. The Word says present your body on the altar and transform the mind.

Matthew 24:38

38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark…

Scoffing is making fun of God. Mocking is making evil of good.

Matthew 24:39

39 And did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

As the fallen world incites us to be transhuman or transgender, the risen Lord invites us to be transformed.
