When Man Refuses To Answer To Heaven (Sixth Trumpet | Second Woe) | Revelation 9:13-21 | Matt Maher

July 5, 2026

60:09

The first woe revealed what happens when hell answers to heaven. The second woe reveals what happens when man refuses to answer to heaven. As the sixth trumpet sounds, four bound angels are released from the Euphrates, a massive demonic army is unleashed, and one-third of mankind is killed. Yet the greatest tragedy of Revelation 9 isn't the judgment itself—it is humanity's refusal to repent. Just as the first woe reminded us that even hell answers to heaven, the second woe reminds us that the greatest danger isn't God's unwillingness to save—it's man's unwillingness to repent. In this message, we explore: • The significance of the Sixth Trumpet and the Second Woe • The identity of the four bound angels • Why the Euphrates River has always been associated with God's judgment • The terrifying 200-million-man army • What the serpent imagery reveals about Satan's deception • Why idolatry is the root of every other sin • The difference between an evidence problem and a heart problem • Why only the Holy Spirit can bring true repentance Revelation 9 isn't ultimately about demons, horsemen, or supernatural warfare. It's about the condition of the human heart. Hell answers to heaven. The question is... Will we? Thank you for watching a Landmark video.
