Lucas Silva serves as Creative Assistant at Landmark Church, where he gets to use his love for design, photography, and creative media to serve the worship and creative arts team. Originally from Brazil, Lucas and his family made the move to America and began searching for a church to call home. It was his sister who discovered Landmark Church, and after attending one Sunday, the family knew they had found their place. From the warmth of the greeters at the front door to the power of the message, Lucas felt welcomed from the very first moment. He is convinced that God led his family to Landmark, and that experience has deeply shaped the way he serves others today.

Before joining the creative team, Lucas served faithfully in various ministries at Landmark, including Kids Ministry, Lost + Found, and Photography, building a heart for the church and sharpening his skills along the way. That season of serving laid the foundation for what came next. When an opportunity opened up to join the creative team as an intern, Lucas said yes without hesitation. For Lucas, the best kind of work is the kind that feels like a calling, and serving on the creative team is exactly that. More than anything, he wants his work to mean something, to tell stories that point people to God and leave a real impact. When he's not at church, Lucas is probably gaming, watching soccer, buried in a sports manga, or out somewhere chasing a good shot with his camera. He is thankful to have found a community that welcomed him like family from day one, and hasn't stopped since.
