The Lion, The Lamb, and The Scroll | Revelation 5:1-8 | Matthew Maher | Landmark Church

In Revelation 4, John is taken into the throne room of heaven where worship never ceases. The throne is settled. The King is seated. The living creatures cry, “Holy, holy, holy,” and the elders respond, “You are worthy.” But in Revelation 5, the scene suddenly shifts. John sees a scroll in the right hand of the One on the throne — and a question echoes through heaven: Who is worthy to open it? This message walks through Revelation 5:1–8, revealing why the Lion of the tribe of Judah alone is worthy to take the scroll and begin the unfolding of God’s plan for history. The Lion who conquered is the Lamb who was slain — and only He has the right to reclaim what was lost. Overview

Rechurched podcast is meant to inspire conscience and instigate conviction, so people may know God and show God.

We believe that too many people are just going to church but have never experienced the transforming power of being the Church.

We intend to change that.
