Matthew Maher serves as a pastor at Landmark Church in Ocean City, New Jersey, where he is passionate about helping people see the world through the lens of Scripture and live with conviction in a culture of confusion. He oversees teaching, discipleship, and ministry initiatives that equip believers to stand firm in God’s Word while staying anchored in the hope of Christ.

Matthew’s heart for ministry has been shaped by a unique journey—from playing professional soccer early in life to later experiencing firsthand the transforming power of God’s grace. His story is one of redemption, calling, and a deep desire to see others encounter the same life-changing freedom found in Jesus.

He is also the author of several books, hosts the Rechurched podcast, and leads the Truth Over Trend platform, which exists to help Christians navigate today’s world with wisdom, discernment, and bold faith.

Above all, Matthew loves preaching God’s Word, shepherding people toward spiritual maturity, and reminding the Church that we are living in urgent days—but with an unshakable Savior.

Matthew lives in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey with his wife Sarah and their children, Willow, Ezekiel, and Malachi. Outside of ministry, he enjoys writing, creating content, and spending meaningful time with his family.
