Proverbs 1:7
The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But Fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 13:12
Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But desire fulfilled is a tree of life.
Proverbs 13:15
“Good understanding produces favor,
But the way of the treacherous is their own disaster.”
Wisdom’s correction is light—consequences are heavy because they arrive compounded.
Proverbs 13:16
Every prudent person acts with knowledge,
But a fool displays foolishness.
Proverbs 13:17
A wicked messenger falls into adversity,
But a faithful messenger brings healing.
A sweetened gospel leaves the old self alive—and the wound unhealed.
The Cross is not an ornament; it is an instrument of violent horrific death…
