Turning 70 is not about age—it is about having lived, endured, and learned. Scripture teaches that gray hair is not a liability but a crown earned through righteousness (Proverbs 16:31). It represents seasons survived, suffering integrated, and wisdom forged through trial. Our culture elevates speed, youth, and technology, but God links reverence for age with reverence for Himself (Leviticus 19:32). To honor the aged is to honor time, its cost, and its authority. Gray hair is described as “earned authority” rather than a liability.Who has been a “gray head” in your life, and what wisdom did their experience teach you?

A gray head is a crown of glory; it is found in the way of righteousness.

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

A wise person lives knowing that every repeated act will one day be done for the final time.
