Sermon Notes
Living right in a wrong world will have you deemed wrong by those who think doing wrong is right.
Psalm 15:1
Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
We are justified by faith to stand in God’s presence, and then sanctified by truth to stay there.
Psalm 15:2
He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart…
Our work for God should be the overflow of our walk with God; and our walk with God should be the outflow of our worship of God.
Psalm 15:3
He who does not backbite with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor does he take up a reproach against his friend…
He who gossips with you will gossip about you.
Loving an enemy is about overcoming evil, not overlooking evil.
Psalm 15:4
In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he honors those who fear the Lord; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change…
Integrity is consistent and constant and does not compromise even at personal consequence.
Psalm 15:5
He who does not put out his money at usury, nor does he take a bribe
against the innocent.
Psalm 15:5
He who does these things shall never be moved.
A heart right with God remains immovable in a world full of wrong.
