The Last Kingdom Is Coming (The Seventh Trumpet) | Revelation 11:15-19 [#33] | Matthew Maher
The seventh trumpet sounds—and heaven erupts with an announcement that all of Scripture has been moving toward: “The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” In Revelation 11:15–19, heaven announces the coming reign of Jesus Christ with such certainty that the future is celebrated as though it has already happened. What Psalm 2 promised, what Daniel 2 foresaw, and what Daniel 7 revealed now converge in one triumphant proclamation: the King is coming, and His Kingdom will have no end. In this message, we explore the seventh trumpet, the worship of the twenty-four elders, the rage of the nations, coming judgment and reward, and the opening of God's heavenly temple. The ark of the covenant reminds us that through every judgment and every upheaval, God has not forgotten His promises. The kingdoms of men will not last forever. The last Kingdom is coming—and the King will reign forever. Be sure to subscribe to the Landmark Church YouTube Channel and wherever you access podcasts to stay updated on all upcoming sermons.
