- Solomon states that “…the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel”. Can you explain what he means, and give an example where you have observed this.

Proverbs 27:8
Like a bird that wanders from its nest
Is a man who wanders from his place.
Proverbs 12:10
A righteous man regards the life of his animal,
But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

He who tills his land will be satisfied with bread,
But he who follows frivolity is devoid of understanding.

The Wicked:
1. Envy evil success
2. Desire what is gained through wrong
3. Rootless, grasping, unstable
The Righteous:
1. Seek God’s approval
2. Produce what is good through faith
3. Rooted, fruitful, enduring
Proverbs 12:13-14
The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips,
But the righteous will come through trouble.
A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth,
And the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him.
